Fujitsu Expands AI Cloud Services for Secure Enterprise Data Control

Fujitsu just announced the Fujitsu Cloud Service Generative AI Platform. This new cloud-based service blends data security with convenience. It will roll out in Japan in 2025, with global expansion planned. Applications for a trial in Japan start February 13, 2025.

Generative AI boosts productivity in brainstorming, note-taking, and even coding. However industries handling sensitive data worry about leaks, compliance, and AI mislearning. Fujitsu’s platform tackles these concerns head-on.

How It Works

The service integrates Fsas Technologies Inc.'s Private AI Platform on PRIMERGY, Supermicro’s GPU servers, and Fujitsu’s Takane LLM. Takane, part of the Fujitsu Kozuchi AI service, is a top-tier Japanese-language AI model. The platform ensures security by processing client data in a private cloud area within Fujitsu’s data centers. Over time, more LLMs will be added to meet customer needs.

This service joins the Fujitsu Computing as a Service portfolio. Fujitsu offers full support from setup to optimization, helping businesses get the most out of generative AI.

Key Features

  1. Private Data Management

    • Fine-tuned LLMs and RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) data are stored in private cloud areas for each client.

    • This setup keeps sensitive information secure, prevents misuse, and ensures regulatory compliance.

  2. Affordable GPU Resources

    • The platform shares GPU servers for AI training and inference, reducing hourly costs.

    • A shared infrastructure slashes setup costs compared to custom AI environments.

    • On-premise options include Fsas Technologies’ AI Platform on PRIMERGY and Supermicro GPU servers, with full integration support.

  3. Secure AI Access

    • Fujitsu’s security tech prevents unauthorized access within LLMs.

    • The platform undergoes vulnerability checks and third-party audits.

    • Hosted in JDCC Tier 4 equivalent data centers, ensuring high security and availability.

Why It Matters

Fujitsu’s Generative AI platform makes AI safer and more cost-effective for businesses handling sensitive data. With robust security, private cloud storage, and a shared infrastructure model, it’s designed for efficiency and peace of mind. More LLMs and upgrades are coming, ensuring flexibility for evolving AI needs.
